Bits and Pieces

Have you ever wonder why, when everything seems to be perfect, then suddenly something terrible happens?  I ended my previous blog with me—converted to perm. Before that, everything was great… Everything... Until last month when I hit my first and second biggest mistake in the span of a week!  I thought that after two years, my familiarity with my daily grind was good enough.  I was wrong.  Two of my conversion programs had a simple glitch.  Yeah, simple but the impact was great. I guess I was too confident, too lax that I have forgotten to seek God’s guidance. Too proud, maybe.  But thank God, He was there to rescue me.  He gave me peace. He delivered.

Flash Back

Ok. Now, I have to do this thing again. Same question goes: What happened, when it happened, where it happened?

December:

  • Honnie, Deni and Sam stayed back in Naga until after Christmas. So then, I spent my Christmas at Sengkang. Missed my family...
  • Created my FaceBook account (Friendster is no longer the in-thing, sabi daa.)
  • My third Dinner and Dance with BTMU.

  • bought a Yamaha PSR-E313 Keyboard as a Christmas present to my kids. Yep, it was eventually used for Care Group meetings.

  • Fetch my family at Changi Airport on December 27.

January:

  • Deni and Sam’s first day at Pei Tong Primary School

  • “It” happened.  Well, I guess January was not really a good month for me but, like what they say, “life must go on”…
  • CNY: Spent the Saturday before CNY at the East Coast Park. Great.

  • Attended Roy’s wedding after CNY.

February:

  • A deep at Clementi Pool

  • I was so blessed when I was chosen by my boss to represent Singapore for the CMS Seminar and was given the opportunity to do a short talk to showcase Singapore CMS products. With participants from China, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh, Bankok, Sydney, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Manila and Jakarta branch, it was my first time to address an international audience! Praise God!

  • Myanmar Sunday Service at Rendezvous Hotel
